We are committed to managing our carbon and water footprint in a manner that minimizes our impact on the environment and creates value for society and for future generations. We are an active contributor to collective action towards environmental stewardship. Shared values and vision are the foundation of any strong relationship, and the engagement of our partners with this cause inspires us to strengthen and expand our own participation and performance in environmental footprint management. Our manufacturing facilities at Ankleshwar and Dahej are ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified for environment management systems, which reflects our commitment to enhancing our environmental performance.

MANAGING OUR CARBON EMISSIONS
We have undertaken various initiatives focused on energy efficiency and water conservation to reduce our carbon footprint and to address global environment issues such as climate change and global warming. The key facets of our sustainability initiatives are to decarbonize our operations, creating carbon sinks through tree plantations, reducing our carbon footprint by enhancing energy efficiency and enhancing the resilience of our operations to the physical impacts of climate change. We have installed equipment in our Ankleshwar and Dahej manufacturing facilities which have reduced our electricity consumption from financial year 2019 to financial year 2024.
WATER MANAGEMENT
We recognize the preciousness of water as a natural resource and believe in optimizing water usage using the 3-R principle – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We use technologies that reduce our water footprint and align our workforce with the values of water conservation. All our facilities have zero liquid discharge capabilities that contribute to substantial reduction in water wastage. We have also reduced specific water consumption to 0.31 KL/KG in financial year 2024 down by 42.59% compared to financial year 2023.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
Responsible handling and disposal of waste is one of the most important components of our environment management system. Our waste management strategy uses robust standard operating procedures to handle various categories of waste, ensuring efficient categorization, segregation, minimization, safe handling, transport, and disposal of waste. In the financial year 2021, we recycled 5,696 MT of hazardous waste at our manufacturing facilities. Further, we have modified our existing processes and implemented solvent recovery systems at our Ankleshwar and Dahej manufacturing facilities.
